Why in-home medical services matter

In-home medical services reduce barriers to healthcare access, decrease the risks associated with travel and clinic exposure, and allow clinicians to see patients in their real living environment. This approach improves diagnostic accuracy for conditions related to mobility, falls, medication errors, and home safety. For chronic disease management and post-hospital recovery, home visits have been shown to lower readmission rates and improve patient satisfaction and adherence.

How we structure our services

Intake and scheduling

Our intake staff collects medical history, medications, and insurance information to prepare for your visit. Call (305) 661-7609 to schedule.

On-site assessment

The physician performs a focused or comprehensive physical exam, orders point-of-care tests, and documents findings.

Diagnostics and coordination

For labs, imaging, or specialist referrals, we coordinate with trusted local providers and mobile testing services when appropriate.

Treatment and follow-up

We provide prescriptions, treatment instructions, and schedule telehealth or in-person follow-up. Post-hospital patients receive timely reviews within 24–72 hours when clinically indicated.

Documentation and care continuity

All visit notes are recorded and can be shared with other providers with your permission.

Payment Plans

Medicare Patients

For patients with Medicare, our office handles the billing process directly. Medicare pays our office, and if you have a supplemental policy, Medicare will typically forward the claim to your supplemental insurance for any additional payment to us.

Medicare Patients Paying at Time of Service

Medicare patients who are able to pay at the time of service may be asked to do so. Once Medicare pays our office, we will reimburse the patient. If supplemental insurance also sends payment to our office, that payment will also be passed along to the patient.

Non-Medicare, Private Insurance & Self-Pay Patients

For patients without Medicare, including those with individual insurance plans, employer-provided insurance, company plans, or no insurance, payment is due at the time of service. Due to the complexity and variation of non-Medicare insurance plans, we do not coordinate billing directly with those insurance companies. However, we can provide an invoice that patients may submit to their insurance plan for possible reimbursement.
