What areas do you serve?
We serve Greater Miami, Homestead, and communities through the Lower Keys. For specific addresses, call (305) 661-7609 to confirm service availability.
How do I become a patient?
Call (305) 661-7609 to register. Our staff will collect demographic and insurance details, obtain your medical history, and schedule an initial home visit.
What types of visits do you provide?
We provide primary care home visits, urgent care house calls, geriatric home care, post-hospital transitional visits, same-day and emergency home visits, telehealth follow-ups, and coordination with home health services.
Scheduling and availability
How do I schedule a home visit?
Call (305) 661-7609. For urgent needs, explain the urgency so we can triage and prioritize same-day availability when appropriate.
Do you accept same-day requests?
Yes. Same-day and urgent visits are offered and availability. We prioritize urgent cases and respond rapidly when feasible.
Insurance, billing, and payments
Do you accept insurance or Medicare?
We work with many insurers, including Medicare, but coverage depends on individual plan rules. Call our office with insurance details and we will verify benefits and explain billing procedures. For patients paying out-of-pocket, we provide clear self-pay pricing.
Will you submit claims to my insurance?
Yes. We submit professional claims for covered services. Any patient responsibility (copays, deductibles) will be discussed at scheduling.
Clinical and operational questions
What should I prepare for a home visit?
Have an up-to-date medication list, any discharge papers or recent test results, and information about allergies. Clear pathways and space for assessments are helpful. Family members or caregivers should be present if possible.
Can the physician order labs or imaging?
Yes. We can order lab tests and imaging and coordinate with local providers or mobile phlebotomy services for home draws. Imaging generally occurs at outpatient centers unless mobile services are available.
What if I need after-hours care?
Call (305) 661-7609 and follow instructions from the triage system. For life-threatening emergencies, call 911 immediately.
About safety and coordination
How do you ensure privacy and HIPAA compliance?
We follow HIPAA guidelines for recordkeeping, documentation, and secure communication. We obtain patient consent before sharing health information with family members or other physicians.
Will you communicate with my specialists and hospitals?
Yes. With your permission, we send visit notes and summaries to your other providers and coordinate care plans to reduce fragmentation.
Clinical care specifics
Can you manage IV therapy or complex procedures at home?
For complex infusions or procedures, we coordinate with home health agencies that provide skilled nursing services. We collaborate closely to ensure safe and effective administration.
Can you perform telehealth visits?
Patients may call us at any time to discuss their medical problems. However, we do not do what is often called "telehealth"; we believe that it is necessary to actually see the patient in person in order to diagnose properly a problem in relation to the whole body.
Safety and triage guidance
When should I call 911 instead of requesting a home visit?
Call 911 immediately for chest pain with severe, unrelenting chest pain with severe shortness of breath, severe shortness of breath at rest, sudden weakness or loss of consciousness, severe uncontrolled bleeding, or signs of stroke. For urgent but non-life-threatening issues, call (305) 661-7609.
Requesting and canceling visits
How do I cancel or reschedule a visit?
Call (305) 661-7609 as soon as possible to cancel or reschedule. We ask for timely notice when possible to serve other patients.
What is your cancellation policy?
Specific cancellation policies may apply depending on scheduling and preparation for the visit. In general, there is no charge for cancelling or changing an appointment. We appreciate as much advance notice as possible.
Care coordination and family involvement
Can family members be present during visits?
Yes, with the patient’s consent. We encourage caregivers to participate to improve understanding and follow-up adherence.
Will you help arrange home health or physical therapy?
Yes. We coordinate referrals to trusted home health agencies, rehabilitation physicians, and community resources to support recovery and independence.
